James Burnford - Managing Director
James started Northwood in 1983, actually felling the Oak trees and selling the timber to other sawmills. His role as Managing Director is to oversee all aspects of the business and drive the business forward through continual improvement of the products and services supplied by his team.
Stuart Rivers - Sales Team
Stuart has been at Northwood since 2002 and has brought with him a mountain of knowledge, collected whilst working in the trade since leaving school many years ago. Stuart is in charge of our FSC® and PEFC™ certification. He has 45 years of experience in the timber trade, so he should be capable of answering any queries you have. He certainly knows his wood.
Richard Peckham - Sales Team
Richard comes from a long career in furniture sales and has taken the change to timber sales in his stride. Richard is also in charge of logistics, ensuring the customers get the timber they need in time.
JJ Banasco-Zaragoza - Sales Team
JJ joined the team in 2018, coming from a timber merchants background. Before arriving at Northwood, JJ had already amassed a good knowledge of timber. While usually found working in Northwood's sales office, JJ makes regular trips to client sites to discuss their needs and requirements. Outside of work, JJ's main passion is football.
Tom Gale - Sales Team
Tom joined Northwood in 2019, coming from a local timber merchant. Tom's main role is in the sales office, but he can also be found around the mill helping with various roles.
Annie Reynolds - Head of Accounts
Annie worked previously as a private Medical Secretary to some of the top Consultants in Brighton before joining Northwood in 1998 to help with the accounts side of the business and as James’ PA.
